Love is Blind Wine Tasting Class

They say love is blind but it's also the best way to taste and learn about wine! Join Alpana Singh as she teaches you the elements of “blind tasting". By removing the influence of label, pricepoint and varietal from the process, you're able to judge the wine on its own merit for an unbiased experience. Blind tasting is also an important tool utitlized by wine professionals to enhance their education and training. With this entertaining crash course, you’ll learn quick and easy tips to improve your everyday wine enjoyment by learning how to assess a wine's appearance, nose and palate. Alpana will then walk you through the process of putting these clues together to best determine the wine's provenance, varietal and region. The evening will begin with a seated tutorial of three wines and then you'll have an opporunity to put your new skills to the test with a blind tasting challenge of three additional wines and a chance to win a $100 Terra and Vine Gift Certificate. This is a perfect opportunity to take your love of wine to the next level, just in time for Valentine's Day!  Lecture will begin promptly at 6:15 pm.
